The French Will Never Forget...

As we approach the tenth anniversary of 9/11, a group in our community "The French Will Never Forget" -- a grassroots organization founded by French citizens and dedicated to French-American friendship -- is planning to commemorate the anniversary in Paris.
You have probably seen coverage of the operation in France-Amérique, and in the most recent FACC San Francisco newsletter. As FACC national president, I am proud to communicate our support of this effort, and share with you the attached statement, which will be displayed on the model Twin Towers built in Paris on the place du Trocadéro, framing the Eiffel Tower on 9/11. This will be a powerful symbol of French-American solidarity. In addition, we have made a financial donation to "The French Will Never Forget" in the name of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. We encourage you in turn to support this worthy cause and communicate the information to your members. You can find more on the commemoration and instructions on giving at The French Will Never Forget Facebook page.
